The work

This page reflects the missions we are actively carrying, preparing, or discerning. Each one demands preparation, responsibility, and the willingness to enter formation under load.

What is listed here is work we are prepared to lead well—now or soon.

We do the work that makes the work possible.

IRON FORGE

Proverbs 27:17

Location: Pisgah National Forest, NC

Iron Forge is a multi-day wilderness trek designed as a rite of passage for young men, supported by fathers and mentors. Through sustained physical demand, shared responsibility, Scripture, and time under load, participants are shaped in brotherhood, humility, and endurance.

This work places young men in environments where formation cannot be outsourced. Where character is revealed through effort, submission, and presence with others.

Status: Active / Scheduled

A young man sitting on the ground outdoors, smiling at the camera, wearing a blue T-shirt, a black baseball cap worn backwards, and holding a hiking stick. In the background, there are other people near a vehicle and trees.

“This hike mirrored life. God has been pressing on my heart to step fully into manhood—to suffer so I can be better for others, and to push past mediocrity.
Now I look at challenges the same way we climbed: no matter the pain, I take the next step.”
